Who we are
This website is run by Restaurant Damas, 1201, avenue Van Horne, Montréal (QC) H2V 1K4 (“we”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through it.
The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the management of Restaurant Damas, reachable at info@damas.ca.
What we collect
- What you send us: if you write or call us, or use the private-events form, the information you choose to give (name, email, phone, date, number of guests, special requests, allergies).
- Technical information needed to run the site, such as your IP address and browser type, kept in our host’s server logs.
This site uses no analytics or advertising tools and has no newsletter. Reservations are made with OpenTable, under its own policy.
Why we use it
- To answer your request and arrange your reservation or event.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it to make automated decisions about you.

Some providers store information outside Québec. When they do, we make sure it receives adequate protection.
How long we keep it
Requests received by email are kept as long as needed to handle them and keep our records, then deleted. Our host’s technical logs are kept for a short period.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, and withdraw your consent. Write to info@damas.ca; we answer within 30 days.
You can also complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec. California residents: you have the right to know about, delete and correct the personal information we hold, and we don’t sell or share it.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to requests is limited to the people who handle them. If a privacy incident creates a risk of serious harm, we’ll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
